Scout 810

So, what is a Scout 810, you might ask?
Well, a Scout 810 is a 1971 Scout II made in the very early stages of the model year.

In 1971 International was switching production from the 800B models to the Scout II models. Thier in-house name for the soon to be Scout II was the Scout 810. (International always had a thing for numbers.) When the production of the Scout II started alot of the first ones off the line recieved labels on thier glove box door that refers to the trucks as being a Scout 810.

Exactly how many Scout II's recieved this label will probable never be determined. What I want to do with this site is to gather whatever evidence I can, including VIN numbers and Line Setting Ticket info on all known 810's and try and corrolate what came stock, or available in 1971 and how the distribution of the trucks worked out.

According to Crismon, there were close to 30,000 Scout II's sold in 1971. How many of these recieved the 810 badge I don't now. This is what I would like to determine.

So far, to date, I have info from 7 1971 Scout 810's. I have one, Ken Robinson's father in NC has one, Eason Lilley in NC is selling one, Scott Satherland has one of the earliest so far, and Dan Maciejczyk has a 2wd version, Mitchell Tone in Texas has one, and Mark Ashford has one in Washington St, then there is mine.

I'll post pictures and line set ticket info from the various trucks here as I get the data together.
